URBAN BIOTOPE TO-GO

The Finnish artist Tea Mäkipää has created an ecosystem-to-go in a van as a small biotope in the city. Animals that would otherwise have disappeared in urban Copenhagen can find shelter and a natural oasis inside the car. Passers-by can look at life inside the car and donate parking tickets and thus protect the habitat from being removed by police.

Tea Mäkipääs biotope is located on Gråbrødretorv as an satellite of MAD Camp Food Festival.
